Itinerary
The tour starts and ends at RAW Hostel in Ha Giang City (09:00–17:00), lasting 4 days and 3 nights. If you're coming from Hanoi, Noi Bai Airport, Sa Pa, Ninh Binh, Ha Long, or Cat Ba, we can arrange a VIP Cabin sleeper bus to pick you up. Most travelers arrive the night before—free dorm stay included if needed. Be ready to travel about 7 hours from Hanoi, with pick-up options at 11:00 or 19:00 from your hotel in old quarter.
08:30 – Depart from Ha Giang City and enjoy the slower pace and authentic countryside scenery.
09:30 – Stop at Cat Ly Viewpoint for panoramic mountain views.
10:00 – Continue riding through rustic life scenery. Take your time to enjoy the road and occasional photo stops.
11:30 – Arrive in Thai An Village for a quiet local lunch.
12:30 – After lunch, continue toward Du Gia via the route through Duong Thuong. This road winds through untouched valleys and minority villages.
14:00 – Stop at Lung Ho Viewpoint – a great place for photos and a short rest.
14:30 – Arrive in Du Gia Village. Check in to your homestay and prepare for a refreshing swim.
15:00 – Head to Du Gia Waterfall. Although it’s popular, the timing in mid-afternoon often avoids large crowds.
16:00 – Return to your homestay. You’re free to relax, walk through the village, explore nearby rice fields, or chat with locals.
19:00 – Enjoy a home-cooked dinner.
Optional: happy water and karaoke.
09:00 – Depart from your homestay in Du Gia and ride through quiet mountain roads, passing remote villages and lush valleys toward Meo Vac.
11:00 – Continue the ride toward Meo Vac, passing untouched landscapes and authentic ethnic communities.
12:30 – Arrive at Sung Trai Village and have lunch in a local home-style eatery.
13:30 – After lunch, head to the Nho Que River. Take a boat ride along the emerald-green water surrounded by towering cliffs, and enjoy the breathtaking views of Tu San Canyon — the deepest gorge in Southeast Asia.
15:00 – Continue the ride along the spectacular Ma Pi Leng Pass, where dramatic cliffs and deep valleys make this one of the most scenic parts of the loop.
16:30 – Depart for Dong Van, passing through winding roads lined with rock formations and mountain slopes.
18:00 – Arrive in Dong Van Old Quarter and check in at hotel/homestay.
19:00 – Dinner at a local restaurant in Dong Van.
Optional – Explore the charming Dong Van Old Quarter, enjoy local happy water, dance, or experience local nightlife.
08:00 – Have breakfast in Dong Van.
09:00 – Depart for Lung Cu – Vietnam’s northern frontier.
09:45 – Arrive at the Lung Cu Flagpole, one of Vietnam’s most iconic landmarks. Climb the tower and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and across the Chinese border.
11:00 – Begin toward Sa Phin.
12:00 – Stop to visit the H’mong King’s Palace – a historic royal home with unique H’mong and French-Chinese architecture.
12:30 – Have lunch in local restaurant near H’mong King’s Palace
13:30 – Continue through the picturesque Tham Ma Pass, with a stop at the winding S-curve viewpoint for photos.
15:30 – Ride through the forested mountains of Quan Ba district.
16:30 – Arrive at Nam Dam Village, a Dao ethnic community known for its preserved culture, eco-living, and herbal medicine traditions.
17:00 – Check in to a local homestay. Relax with a short walk around the village or enjoy the peaceful mountain air.
19:00 – Share dinner with the host family.

08:00 – Enjoy breakfast at homestay.
09:00 – Depart from Nam Dam and take a short ride through the pine forest to reach Lung Khuy.
09:30 – Arrive at Lung Khuy Cave. Hike about 30 minutes up to the entrance, then explore one of Ha Giang’s most spectacular caves filled with stalactites and ancient rock formations (~1 hour total visit).
11:00 – Depart from Lung Khuy and ride to Lung Tam Weaving Village.
11:30 – Visit a traditional H’mong weaving cooperative. Learn about the full process of hemp weaving, indigo dyeing, and handmade embroidery. You can watch the artisans at work or try a part of it by yourself.
12:30 – Head to Quan Ba town for lunch at a local restaurant.
13:30 – After lunch, begin the return ride to Ha Giang. Enjoy the final stretch with scenic stops along the way.
14:00 – Optional stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate and the Twin Mountains (Fairy Bosom Hills) for photos.
16:00 – Arrive back in Ha Giang City.
